Come, sit on our dock, dream, relax, sun bath or take in some early morning or evening fishing. We also provide deep water mooring access for our boat loving guests. There is outdoor dining facilities as well as gas and charcoal grills available. Bring your boat or jet ski and dock with us.
The Gulf of Mexico is just steps away . . . Anchor Apartments are located directly across the street from the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico on Gulf Boulevard. You can enjoy evening walks along the shore line collecting shells, enjoying the sounds of the water splashing and magnificent sunsets or swing in the back watching the dolphins.
The Anchor Apartments are located on Gulf Blvd. which gives you easy access to all the Sun Coast Beaches from St. Pete Beach to the south and north to Clearwater Beach. You don't even need a car to explore our beaches the beach trolley runs the length of Gulf Blvd. and there is a Trolley stop just steps away from our property.
Treasure Island offers a variety of shopping, restaurants, golfing, tennis, jet sking and miles of white sandy beaches. In the evening, dinner and dancing at the local pubs which are in walking distance from the Anchor Apartments.
Treasure Island is just a few hours from other major Florida cities. We are approximately 2 hours from Orlando, approximately3 hours from Daytona, approximately 6 hours from Miami or Jacksonville. We are approximately 45 minutes from Tampa International Airport and approximately 30 minutes from St. Petersburg / Clearwater airport.
The Anchor Apartments are only one and half miles south of the famous John's Pass Village. Built to resemble an old Florida fishing village, John's Pass Village is home to numerous shops and restaurants. You will also find boat rentals, parasailing, site seeing tours and deep sea fishing charter boats. The downtown St. Petersburg Art District has theaters and is second in Florida for it's Museum of Art.
Only 15 minutes away is downtown St. Petersburg and Tropicana Field the home to Major Leagues Baseball's 2008 American League Champions, the Tampa Bay Rays.
Florida's major theme parks are also within a day trip. Busch Gardens is about an hour's drive away in north Tampa, Disney World and Sea World an easy 1 1/2 hour drive just this side of Orlando.
